I have a two cats buried in my back yard that were also beloved pets. The first lived 18 years and when she died, I was o.k. with it really. She lived a long cat life and I know she was ready to go, so I don't feel all that sad about it. When it is time, it is time.
The other was unexpected, but sometimes pets leave us before their time. If there is a pet heaven, then I know they are o.k.
