Find and go to a meeting Kate. Get started. The sooner the better; like tonight. You don't have to be sober to go (just don't drive if you aren't). There are meetings everywhere. SR is great but I found having flesh and blood you can see and who see you is invaluable. Others have quit other ways but I'm not sure I could have without AA.
