The best thing you can do for yourself is take the word "can't" out of your vocabulary. You CAN do it. Through work and determination it is possible.
As far as AA goes, you have to find the right recovery path for you. Because worked for someone else doesn't mean its right fpr you although you should give it all you have before making that decision.
The important thing is not to give up.
