Great topic! I'm aware that the prices for booze and cigs here in Chicago are astronomical, but thank goodness I'm not keeping up with them.
The money I'm saving in sobriety has allowed me to begin filling in what was once a deep, deep financial hole. I think many of us have been down there.
I'm off on a vacation of sorts this Friday as well. Plane ticket, hotel, rental car, bike, already paid for! It sure feels great.
