I'd like to share a post by LonelyShadow who is coming up on 2 months soon.
He posted it in February Class and has given me permission to repost it in the club.

And He shared...

I've tried before to simply eliminate alcohol but didn't do anything else to support that
decision.

It makes no sense if you look at it logically, I should of realized that if I wanted to make
a change I needed to make many changes.

To bring back the metaphor about weight training it's like expecting to go into the gym
once a week and do one set of bicep curls, then keep doing that week in week out
with no change happening and standing their looking in the mirror scratching your head
as to why nothing's happening (I've done this often).

The rewards only come with persistent dedication, educating yourself and permanent
lifestyle changes that support your goals. And if it's not working, don't give up, just
find out why it's not working and KEEP. MOVING. FORWARD.

It's not an easy path to take, and the sad fact is that many will not understand, and
therefore will be unable to support the decision to live a sober life.

We have to dig deep, deep down and find the strength to make the decisions we need
to in order to keep going.

Hope all are strong out there today

Peace and love
LonelyShadow
