Hey Dave,
It definately sucks being on this end of the deal. We are powerless over the addict/alcoholic and their destruction is more than what appears on the surface.
They seem to move on to seemingly happier times while we seem to be part of the floating debris that follows in their wake.
Don't let the destruction of the past rob you of an awesome future, amigo.
I'm of the belief that God doesn't permit what we can't handle.
