Thanks. I found it looking for "birthday gifs"...doesn't look all that Birthday-ish, but Chris is a California guy.
It reminded me of two recovery things.
1.) We are small and weak. The majesty of nature always is a healing thing.
2.) We are not designed to breathe under water. Alcoholism felt to me like drowning. I felt I was on my last breath and that I was floundering with barely my nose above water. A few more drinks or a few more drunks and I may have died.
I've always been a water person. It cures me of so many things, and it is symbolic of so many emotions.
