At the invincible, one drink won't hurt, stage
The last few weeks I've been battling with my wonderful addictive voice. She's even sent dreams to me several times, 3 nights on the bounce.
I could drink just one glass of wine, hell, I deserve it, how far I've come.
I'm in control, come on by now I proved I'm not dependant on booze.
I'm a big girl for goodness sake. it would be nice to relax with a few glasses in an evening.
It's now got from a glass to a few glasses in an evening. I'm invincible. Booze can't rule my life. I rule it. I say how much. I rule my body.
Thankfully, visiting SR, I realise the pitfalls that we can meet and I ain't falling for it.
Get back, bad words. You ain't conning me. You will poison me, leave me comatosed night after night. No way.
If you're like me please just remember. You can get through it. Keep busy, visit SR, whatever rocks your boat, but do not fall for those sugar coated coaxings.
My flesh and mind have been weak for years. I'm standing my ground on this one.
