I know how you feel. Seemed like when I turned 18, everything went downhill for me, as well. I'm 25 and it took one thing to finally start the ball rolling. I started drinking before I could make it home from the store. Shaking, I slammed 2 beers before I knew it. That was the final straw. The DUI, blackouts, numerous fights, injuries, and missing work/family events in the past 7 years never did it for me. Up until Monday, I had no reason or want to change what was happening to me. I was on autopilot it seems like for the past 7 years. Good luck and you have to do it for yourself, first and foremost.
