I have changed.
I have listened.
I have learned.
I have grown.
this has been a 5 year process in my 12 step program of Al anon...
I have learned to say NO. And by saying no and keeping mentally healthy, I do not walk into other peoples ISSUES and BUSINESS, these issues are NOT for me to own....
with that being said...with stopping the enabling, i have lost alot of "friendships"
BUT i would not change anything for the PEACE in my life
I have had old friends try to bring me back to the "old ways"...but i know i have my slogan THINK! to bring me back....
its funny how life is when you say the word NO...people want you to change...but for their own benefit...i changed for ME...
I am not the same person i once was when i came here, i am a butterfly now....a bright red...and always travel to new heights with these wings...but i still stay grounded with the slogans and keeping it REAL...
we each work at our own pace....
