After MANY attempts to quit drinking I went to a doctor recently. Mind you, every time I tried to go cold turkey I had HORRIBLE insomnia. Could not sleep for days (once did not sleep for 4 days). He gave me Librium.

Slept for close to 9 hours. Makes you drowsy for sure. Feel like you can't concentrate, but it did help.
