Drugs and alcohol take a huge toll on
our insides. It affects all our organs,
mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually.

We push our bodies to the limit, over
working them, destroying, damaging,
stressing them.

A trip to your doctor for a full exam
to see what may need to be repaired
due to a chemical imbalance in your system.
There maybe a vitamin deficiency.

I learned to be completely honest with
my doctor letting him know that im in
recovery and if medicine is prescribed
that it not be habit forming or narcotic
because my recovery is very important
to me and I don't want to relapse.

I followed H.A L T. - hungry, angry, lonely
and tired taking care of each or addressing
each to help me stay on track with my
recovery. Any of those warning signs flared
up, I took care of them.

It took yrs of putting my body thru
abuse with alcohol and had to learn
to make it healthier with a program
of recovery to guide me along the way.
