I'm a bit baffled too, but I'm always baffled when a doctor tells someone to drink. I think there are other options, such as the ER that could be used. That's not a comment about you, but merely to say, I'm baffled.
The ER comment is a good point. That would have been an option. But I've spent over $1000 on pills and doctor appointments and delaying it a day seemed like a better option money wise. Maybe people don't agree with that, but it was a decision my wife and I made.
Either way, after tonight it's done. I can't beat myself up about my decisions. I can only look forward and know that one drink is something I will never do after tonight.
I'd go get a tattoo of 1/12/2014 on my chest, but if i were to fail, I'd have to have a line tattooed over that and have a new one with my new sobriety date lol.
