just a simple thank you
Hello all.
I had been thinking tonight about how this group is so special to me.
And I took some time to look back at my earliest posts, in spring 2003, and the caring responses that helped me change my life.
I still carry with me some of the exact words said to me in response to my first few posts, and it was amazing to read them tonight and relive exactly where they came from.
"The three C's: can't Control it, didn't Cause it, can't Cure it"
"You are grieving the loss of your dream."
"Picture your future the way you want it and take steps towards it every day."
"You are learning to detach with love"
"Give youself the gift of time."
"He is sensing that he is losing his control over you, and panicking."
And there were many more -- they were incredibly helpful insights for me at the times I needed them.
You all need to know, if I haven't said it lately, that what you do here can be no short of a miracle in someone's life, because you were (and are!) in mine.
Consider yourselves all hugged, you are angels of mercy.
