Honestly, you are not crazy. One thing alcoholics do is to try and convince themselves THEIR warped view of reality is correct, and everyone else is crazy. It is called denial.
Please take care and please please fly away from this man. I do know it is easier said than done if you still love and care for him but from what you have said, it sounds as if he won't accept he has a problem, and sadly you can't cure him. Please believe me when I say it is a progressive disease and will only get worse.
