little update...we had the road open, but go back on escort tonight...we broke a water line, so had no water for a couple days..this caused cancellation of about 100 guests..the Chef just loves hearing that..I made it to town one day..to get 3 teeth pulled, then I had to rush back up cuz the head Ranger Honcho from Washington came for a meeting and the owner figgered schmoozing might help get the Parks to help with the roads..this is the most frustrating job I have ever had as far as trying to figure menus and keep perishables w/o waste..my van died and my specs broke and no way can I get to town except for my next dental appt in 2 weeks...worst part of the teeth-letting is the vicodan..I'll be out sooner than I should and for a junkie knowing you are gonna be OUT is almost as bad as being out...got a big wedding this weekend and everyone just made it except for a couple we'll have to send someone to guide in..and you know what..it is all good..need for acceptance just never seemed so clear...change what I can and just deal with it...helps that the bride and groom and relatives from Europe are as nice as can be..they will love me before they leave(if you are nice you get extra special treatment from the Chef)...oh, yes, and lightning hit our tower so I haven't had a phone and maintenance just informed me they fixed it..and I don't hate them so I think I have weathered the worst of the "ran out of meds" ordeal...Life is good..rough for a bit there..
