Siamamerican, Thank you for sharing. I can relate, giving up alcohol was not a struggle for me either. Trying to moderate & control my alcohol was a huge inner struggle!! Once I gave up ( in AA they call it surrendering) , my life is one I am thankful for each & every single day.
I've made listening to fellow alcoholics the top priority in meetings because I can soo relate, and then apply knowledge gained to my real life.
