My RA coworker (30 years sober) tells the story of how he would sneak out in the garage at night to drink after the family was asleep.
One night, as he was on his second bottle of rotgut red wine, the door opened and there stood his wife. Who said:
"Are. You.
STANDING.
In the GARAGE.
At TWO A M.
Drinking RED WINE.
Straight out of the bottle????"
He took one look at her and responded:
"No!"
