Sponsorship
Hi guys
Well today I bit the bullet and said yes about being sponsored.
I approached a girl at a meeting who has about 11 years sobriety and works the program.
I asked her to be my sponsor and she said yes and asked me to call her in a few days after considering
A) what do I want from a sponsor and
B) what am I willing to do/not willing to do?
Well I texted her back just then after 2 days and I am hopefully going to speak with her tonight and say that
A) I want to work the steps with her and
B) I am willing to work the steps to the best of my ability.
So does anyone else have a sponsor in aa and were nervous to begin with?
I guess it's worth a try eh?
