Thank you so much for sharing. It is hard to even type it out isn't it. I want to say that I respect you so much. You did what you had to do to maintain your boundary and continue to do it. You have not let that ruin your relationship, you co-parent successfully. I dream of this in my own life!
Have you thought of printing off your post and letting your family read it? I think we are the most truthful on this forum. Sometimes it is hard to articulate in a conversation what we are and were feeling. I think your post says it perfectly and that you should show your family.
Either way, please know you cannot change their behavior either. You are doing great, please keep posting, you are not alone in your journey!
