I did a similar thing. I was sober for 3 yrs. I decided to have 'a glass' of wine - vowing that's all it was going to be. It was ok at first, but soon I was back in the old tailspin - and this time it took me down hard. 7 years later my life was in tatters. That's when I found SR. So I can never consider taking a sip.
