One year today
I can't believe it. It has been a year. No slips or falls. I can remember this time last year like it was last week. I was so sick. I drank over a gallon of Crown Royal whiskey that weekend. Monday came around I could'nt function at all. Strangely, I could find this place. Soberrecovery. Thank God. I was able to figure out how to register (thankfully it was easy) and Dee helped me post my first thread. Thank you Dee. Anna came along and welcomed me. Thank you Anna. Some the people I met here are still here. Thank you all. I don't miss the drunken stupor I lived in every day. There are times I think about a drink but I know the outcome will never change. That keeps me sober. May I never forget. As long as Soberrecovery exists I never will. I have absolute faith in everyone of you trying to quit. I know you can and most important you will.
