Unfortunately when I was deep in my addiction I had little say in what happened to me, so my friends and family were actually even less able than I was to effect a change.
I don't want to paint a uniformly bleak picture tho - I recovered and so have hundreds of others here
Maybe you need to focus on you a little more?
