I think you just answered your own question.....
What are you asking about it for show? So he is going to church and working out. He is still binge drinking. My XAH used to go save the world every night as a police officer. Rode horses and worked out. 50% of the time he was nice.
He still had a massive problem with alcohol. You just need to keep working on you. And decide if these type of changes are enough to tip the scale. Do these type of small changes make a happy marriage?
