One thing that takes a while to come back, but really is worth the wait is your brain. I can actually remember thing again. In meetings, I sound like I know what I am talking about instead of sitting in the corner waiting for the meeting to end so I could hide away in my cubby for the rest of the day. Now if my wife gives me some numbers, I can calculate them in my head. While drinking I used a calculator. It almost feels like your mind is young again.
