The one thing I will say about AA is that it is the only place i go where I feel people know what I have experienced. I got over the "god" stuff when someone told me that all I had to know is that I wasn't it.
There are many other sobriety sources, and I try to use them all: Rational Recovery, SMART. AVRT? (someone help me here)... Others will be along soon. Hang in there!
