Hi all, another nice night with friends from AA. My biggest fear in sobriety was being condemned to hanging out with "boring people" (because God only knows people who drink to excess---me included--- are just so much more "fun" ) but that has been the furthest thing from the truth. Maybe I just got really luck with the two groups I go to but when I hear people worry about AA being uptight and super-religious and exclusionary I think, "Wow, I wish they could meet this lot of people..."

In any case, I AM lucky. And blessed. For these new friends, for all of you, and, of course, for another 24 of sobriety!
