Welcome to SR! I read, a LOT, when I first came here. I listened to what worked for others (like at an AA meeting), what didn't work. I tried some of what had worked, avoided what didn't work, and figured out (trial and error) what works for me.
I would recommend getting checked out by a dr. Alcohol is hard on a body, can be fatal, and it's always better to be safe than sorry.
