Exactly, they are just thoughts. You can recognize them for what they are, and then let them go. For such a long time, I felt like I had to act on every thought or feeling that I had and I wondered why my life was like a roller-coaster ride. When you can distance yourself, even a little bit, from acting on the thoughts and feelings, peace will come into your life.
