I was just thinking how blessed you are not to be like me. I'm one of those hopeless alcoholics who had to join AA to recover. The membership fees were astronomical. It took everything I had plus my sanity and self respect, and then, in order to get well, my self centredness had to be destroyed too!
Thank goodness you won't have to go through that.
