Yes, that's what I tell myself. Funny, but only a few years ago I wasn't bored when I wasn't drinking, and I rarely associated fun with alcohol . . . now my brain automatically associates fun with drinking (even though drinking hasn't been "fun" these last few years).
I wish I could hire a neurologist and have him/her spend a day rewiring my brain back to its normal state. But I guess it's all things in due time.
