To try summarise, drug addiction alters you & your behaviour but you are still aware of what you're doing & the risks associated with your behaviour? drugs are not like alcohol where people 'blank out?' It's not possible to come off drugs & think 'omg wat have I done'. Sorry for my ignorance.
