Terrific idea. Recovery is slow, life can be tough but with time the changes are astonishing. On Oct. 12 I'll have 22 years and I'm still learning. What recovery in AA has done is give me incredible tools, a support system, to help me get through the very hard times. Some character defects are harder than others, I just keep working on them. The most rewarding thing I can do is help someone else get and stay sober. What a gift! I'm still an agnostic but have a Higher Power and that works for me.

It is still hard to have faith sometimes, although two decades of miracles helps! God works through the fellowship of AA, surrounds me with more love than I've ever known in my life.
