Drinking steals from us one of life's most beautiful and terrible gifts, the ability to grieve. There is nothing mystical about it. When we drink, our brain chemistry cannot begin the natural grieving process. And we need this process to heal. All my sympathy for your losses. All my hopes for your recovery.
