I decided to try AA because I was so miserable and couldn't stop on my own. Believe me, I tried. And it's working. Like other people have already said, I don't take that first drink. If I do, there's no telling what will happen or when I will stop. Each night I get into bed I thank God for another sober day. I have over 7 months and hardly think about drinking. It's a miracle and you can have it too
