Lizella, everyone here does it differently for different reasons, but this place, the people here, it's like some kind of alchemy. As individuals, we may lack the strength, the direction the intent, the will power, even the tools, but coming here, finding out methods of attaining and maintaining sobriety, reading heart rending stories, writing silly limericks, keeping company with others taking the same steps at the same time, it all adds up to something so much more than the sum of its parts.
There is real love here, understanding and a million people willing you on, lending a hand when you struggle, reaching out for your support when they are troubled. This is not a site. This is a community.
