Even though we never did have much of a relationship, he gave me the gift of my beautiful daughter, Amber. Amber and I will both attend the service as soon as arrangements are made.
I am sad that he is gone, I am sad for his wife as she has been a good stepmother to Amber. She took good care of Bill for many years. I am sad that he chose to miss out on so much of Amber's life.
I am so grateful for my recovery because it has gotten me through some pretty rough spots. I'm hitting a meeting tomorrow evening.
