I had to put my girl down today. She developed pancreatitis in September of last year. The bouts had become more frequent, and she also had severe arthritis in her hips so I knew it was time. Her name was Abby and she was 16...the best pet I've ever had.

Im sad to hear this, its never easy. I think its the worst part of being a pet owner. I have a cat and I dread the day he isnt here with me. I actually dread it. Hang in there!!! Thank you for posting this beautiful photo.
