"Habit": The book.
I'm reading a book by Charles Duhigg titled "Habit". It is non-fiction and covers current knowledge about how people form and break habits and just how important habit is to human function. I recommend it. Early in the book is a discussion of why AA is effective in helping alcoholics stay dry. And, for a newcomer to sobriety, there is a lot here to help understand why we are the way we are and how to change the way we behave. Good info for those interested in the subject of addiction.
