Good thread. I believe the language we use with ourselves is very powerful.
Why don't we take a break and tell each other what we love about ourselves? Maybe, it's kind of "immodest"...
There is nothing immodest about recognizing one's own strengths. It's important to know what you're good at, what your gifts are, where your strengths lie. Somewhere along the line, some of us got a societal message that confidence=bad, that self deprecation=good and is somehow even virtuous.

I like that I am tenacious. I like that I find humor in almost everything. I like that I am a free thinker. I like that I am an avid learner. I like that I can be depended on. I like that I am unafraid. I like that I am not easily defined.
