Thank you for the response. My ex is almost thirty and he seems so afraid to give up this image. It's either this image or he flips to a modern day Great Gatsby where he wishes he was wealthy and surrounded by glitz and glamour. The self indulgence remains the same. I know we all have fantasies, but sometimes he seems really angry that he doesn't have the life in his head and that he is just an ordinary man.
