Ex has been very quiet and not talking to me since I made my announcement.
The thing that has always stopped me from making a move is the worrying and second guessing about his reaction. This time I didn't even think about it. That's a big change for me and a sign that I'm moving forward as a person and with my self-esteem.
I *am* feeling guilty for hurting him right now, but I know it's for the best for everyone concerned, and I have to try and get over that feeling of guilt. It's been said now, and I've wanted this, and I can't take it back now, and I won't be going backwards.
