what is more important today

I'm also asking, because I'm trying to lose weight at the moment, and it's becoming frustrating as I'm feeling hungry so much of the time.
this can be a little rough
usually sobriety always comes first
and
when many sober up they want to eat a lot
when I was in treatment years ago
there was a lot of good food and deserts going around
and
it seemed that we all had plenty of candy also
ice cream every evening
yes
most all of us put on several pounds in the 28 days
so
yes it is very normal to crave food and sweets when sobering up
and
I think this to be more than ok in the beginning
but
I understand your situation
I guess for now it comes down to this
what is more important today
eating plenty and not drinking
or
feeling starved and craving a drink ?

usually we work on the drinking and or drug problems first
then we take on the other habits such as
food, smoking, etc etc later on in our sobriety
