Hunger pangs
Ok, so I decided to go cold turkey on alcohol last Friday (5th of April), with an unforunate relapse last Wednesday (10th of April). However, while I happy that I'm struggling to beat alcohol addiction, I'm a bit frustrated as I feel I'm getting hungrier each day. Is this related to alcohol withdrawal, or are there other factors involved? If it's the case that hunger pangs are a condition of alcohol withdrawal,
(a) how long should I expect these hunger pangs to last?
(b) How do I beat the hunger pangs?
I'm also asking, because I'm trying to lose weight at the moment, and it's becoming frustrating as I'm feeling hungry so much of the time.
