Celebrating something really important.......

Each day I wake up sober is one of the
biggest things to celebrate for this alcoholic
each day. For any alcoholic to wake up
sober is cause to celebrate.

Celebrating anything and everything in recovery
is a gift. The sun rising and setting each sober
day is a joy and an awesome gift to be appreciated
and admired.

Having a baby, a little bundle of joy in recovery
is a gift and blessing and cause for celebration.
And so is graduating from school, getting a degree.
A new job. A new car. A warm caring hug. Someone
who loves us, understands us with no questions
asked is a gift to be celebrated.

It's not just the material things we celebrate but
also the things we cant see. Feelings of accomplishments,
recognition, freedom, spiritual.

Celebrating from within yourself, your mind, your
heart, your soul.

Whatever you celebrate, celebrate it with confidence,
graditude, patience, understanding, joy, and sober
love.
