Today I made a deadline at work that I had been working hard to meet, the person was very happy, and he told my boss I was wonderful. Just at review time!
Today the new guy I am dating said he wants to come take care of me Sunday because I am sick. He will make me soup, rub my shoulders, keep me company. This was his response to my saying I am fighting this bad chest cold and won't be much of a fun date this weekend, so we can skip til next weekend.
Today my daughter showed me in many ways that she loves me and she is happy. Her smile, her laughter, her hugs, her praise over the dinner I cooked, her excited chatter about going over a friends house tomorrow. These are all happy signs of a child whose life is so much better since my AH moved out 6 months ago.
