It didn't feel right for me either.. Because what felt right, was drinking and running from anything that bothered me.. Its taken some time get feel right just being sober....
Not saying its for everyone, but it is the way for my life.. It saved me and gave something I never thought I would have.. A happy life without the booze..
But you do have to work for the program, it doesn't work for you.. So when you say you tried it, I don't know what you did.. Its way more than just meetings..
That means getting real honest..
Getting a sponsor
Working the steps..
