Proud to have reached 100 days!!
I hit 100 days yesterday and couldn't be happier and more proud. I could never clock up 3 consecutive days previously!! I know I'm not out the woods yet but I can assure everyone out there that it does get easier. Being able to wake up each morning with a clear head and not scared or embarrassed about what might have happened the night before is the best gift you can give yourself. I was blinded and too selfish to see how my drinking affected people around me and I'm so grateful to still have the support of my family and friends. I know now that doing this for them is just as important as it for me. Here's to living....It took me a long time to figure out but I think finally the penny has dropped!! x
