Yep. Most scooters have automatic transmissions so you don't have to deal with shifting. I've never driven a motorcycle and I did fine renting a scooter in Key West. I just took my time getting use to the scooter and went around a residential block a couple times before going out in traffic. And if I can survive driving a scooter in Thailand I can pass ANY test you could throw at me. Take it slow at first until you get the hang of it and in no time you'll be zipping around.
