I made it to Day 5!!
While this might not seem like much, I've been drinking every weekend for the last 2 years and lately started drinking during the week. So, Thursday I came here for the first time and declared I would make it through the weekend...and with all of your help I did it! Thank you all so much. The reason I started on Thursday is that I am used to Binge drinking on the weekends so going sober during the week wasn't my challenge...weekend abstinence was. Now, essentially is my Friday (its Monday here). Also I went to the gym today and encourage all of you to take up some exercise. For the first time in a long time I am sober on a Monday.
